They say dogs have exceptional hearing. But chained to a Chinese made outboard motor on a Mekong river boat, this dog here is either the best engine analyst on the river or plain deaf. These motors are comparatively cheap and don't last very long, but judging by the sound one might wonder whether they are actually _internal_ combustion engines.

Anyway, hearing or not, the dog defended his territory very lively and the boat operators (mostly women on the Mekong) are not any further away from the engine either.
